One of the great ways to start earning real money online is by flipping products. It is very simple; you are basically acting as a reseller of used products. Most times when people are relocating, they tend to leave out some stuff that is in perfect condition and get new ones. You can take the stuff they left, clean it up and upload a picture of it on online market places like OLX and Jiji. You can also outsource them on facebook market place then resell at a higher price.

9. Creating a Kindle Book

Everybody has probably heard of ebooks, most of us have actually bought some (if you like reading). What we don’t know is that most of those books are not written by only well-published authors. Anyone can make a kindle book, it is actually very easy to write. All you need to do is make use of a text editor like Microsoft word and just sit and write out the contents, add a table of content and design a nice cover page. After writing the Kindle book you can upload it on the Amazon Kindle store and start selling for $1-$2 (N360-N720). If you are looking for ideas on what kind of kindle book to write about, you may want to consider writing on something you are passionate about and have some knowledge about it.

Affiliate marketing is simply promoting other peoples product online and getting made an agreed upon commission. Ranging from 2% to as high as 60% commissions depending on the network. The best way to Affiliate market is by using Blogging or Youtube, or a combination of both. If you have a huge amount of following on your Youtube channel or website, which means most of them actually trust you and the value you provide for them. You can capitalize on it and start recommending products to them

Many of us have bought digital courses online. One of the most popular places to market your course is on Udemy. The era of going to colleges to learn a skill is fast fading away. Most people would rather sit at home, pay and learn online. You can capitalize on this opportunity especially if you have something you are really good at.

The rate at which visual contents are consumed daily is growing exponentially; most people prefer to watch contents online rather than having to read them. The best part about it is that you don’t necessarily need a big budget to start, there is much video editing software for either mobile devices or PC to help you start and master the skill. Video editors earn from N15,000 to N60000

This is because small businesses are now taking their products online, and most of these business owners have little time to handle their online profile and are willing to pay a ton of money to professionals to handle their social media, advertising, marketing or to monitor customer activities through the use of analytics. Learning Digital marketing is now being made easy by Google. You can learn the skills and market it to potential clients and start making passive income monthly.

There are many remote jobs that you can get as a software engineer in Nigeria and even outside the country and be making a full-time income without having to report to any office. If you want to get started, there are many online platforms that offer free and paid tutorials on web development. YouTube is the number one place to get started because everything you are learning is free. Other platforms include; Udacity, Codeacademy, Udemy, etc. They also offer free tutorials but the majority of their courses are premium. This means you have to pay for it. All there is to know about Domain/domain-name - Importance in blogging

All there is to know about Domain/domain-name - Importance in blogging

The Internet as a whole is built on the basic principle of the domain, which means every web-page on the internet has its own unique domain. If you intend to own a blog/website you must have read somewhere that you cannot do so without a domain address, be it high-level domain or sub-domain. In this post, I will be explaining the meaning of domain, domain name, sub-domain. In other to fully understand how the internet works, one has to fully understand how domain works and it's important to websites/blogs. I will start by defining what a Domain is, thereafter give examples of a high-level domain.

In simple terms, Domain is the general category that a computer on the internet belongs to. A domain is also a collection of DNS (Domain Name System/Services) consisting of a delegated domain name and all its sub-domain. In data processing, it is a form of technical metadata that represents the type of data item, its characteristics, name, and Usage.

In networking, this is a logical grouping of users and resources; grouped together for ease of administration and security purpose. The most common high-level domain are;

.com:    a commercial organization
.edu:    an education establishment
.gov:    a branch of a government of a country or state
.int:     an international organization
.mil:    a branch of the military
.net:     a network
.org:    a non-profit organization

Most countries have unique domains named after their international abbreviation. Example .ng for Nigeria, .uk for the United Kingdom, .ca for Canada… amongst others.

In computing, a subdomain is a domain name that has been prefaced with additional parts. In another term, it is a domain name that is hosted on another domain. The most common top domain hosts are;      For blogger websites    For web pages hosted on the WordPress platform.          For Joomla Website

Although subdomain works in the same way as a high-level domain. It is, however, advisable for individuals or organizations to own their own high-level domain, as it gives your business a professional Look and feel.

Domain Name: The (easy-to-understand) name given to an Internet host computer, as opposed to the numerical IP address. Or, it is a unique, case-insensitive, name (consisting of a string made up of alphanumeric characters and dashes separated by periods), that the DNS maps to IP numbers and other information. Also, a domain name is an identifier of a computer or site on the internet.

Importance Of Having A Domain Name

1.     It gives Your blog a professional look: It is said that the first impression matters a lot. If you are still using a sub-domain address, people tend not to take you seriously. And it also sends away potential advertisers.

2      2.    It makes your web address easy to remember: A custom domain name shortens the length of your address and thus makes it easy to memorize by blog users.

      3.     It gives you easy access to be approved by Ads Network: A custom domain name not only makes your blog address easy to remember but also makes Ads networks (like Google Ads, Propeller Ads, Bidvertiser, Infolinks, etc)  easily approve you. As most Ad networks don’t approve blogs on a subdomain.

That's all on the domain, domain name and also the importance of owning a unique domain name for your brand. No doubt, a professional domain name has numerous benefits, ranging from the impression your brand leaves on potential customers and advertisers. For bloggers, it doesn’t matter the niche you blogging on, having a domain name is as essential as the blog itself. If you enjoyed this post, kindly share to your contacts on social media.

If a user searches with keyword related to your blog on search engines, the Search engine retrieves millions of results from its large database and displays to the user. Bad for SEO, I strongly kick against it. It is also referred to as spam indexing. Black hat techniques include cloaking (showing one type of page to search engines and serving different page to users), creation of doorway pages (low-quality pages stuffed with keywords), Keyword stuffing, Meta tag stuffing (using unrelated tags), Ranking for keywords using multiple websites or URLs.

How To Automatically Share Blog Posts To Multiple Social Networks - IFTTT

How To Automatically Share Blog Posts To Multiple Social Networks - IFTTT

As a blogger, one difficult task we don't like to do is sharing of posts to our social channels. It is a very tedious task to accomplish when doing it manually because most bloggers belong to multiple social networks, you'll agree with me that going to share posts to all these networks is not very fun and easy. But common, that's the price we have to pay if we truly want visitors in our blogs. However, there is a way in which we could avoid all these manual sharing of posts and just automate them to posts each time your blog publishes an article.

how to use ifttt

This is done using an online tool known as IFTTT. Although, I currently use dlvr to automatically share latest posts from Ndblogger unfortunately the Dlvr platform is currently not accepting new users as at now but if you are looking for another tool that would allow you to automatically share your latest posts on social media, you can use IFTTT.

IFTTT is short for " if this then that " (If I post to my blog, Then Share on Facebook automatically). It is a free web-based service which allows and helps you to do more with the services you love. Some of those services are Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, Google, Pinterest, Tumblr, Skype, and hundreds more interesting services!

How Does IFTTT Works?

Depending on the services you want, IFTTT works in an amazing and different way. But for the purpose of this post, I'll be talking about that of the blogger and WordPress platform and how you can share posts from your blog to your social networks.

How To Use IFTTT To Automatically Share Posts To Multiple Social Networks

ifttt on a blogger blog
1. Sign up for an account on

3. Now click on the Blogger Applets or Visit >> Click on connect to connect with your blogger blog

4. Then, a list of the services you can use with your blogger blog would now be displayed

5. Choose the social networks you would like to share your post on so that whenever you publish a new blog post, it will as a matter of fact share to that network.

6. Turn on the applet, then edit as bests suits you. That is, customizing the message that is added to the link and lots more.

WordPress website/blog already have this feature by default, which allows you to share automatically share posts to your social media networks. However, most bloggers like myself have multiple social accounts from the same network and we also want to post on them, which is why you need an external automation tool to help you posts to those networks. If you want to use ifttt on your WordPress blog, then follow these instructions
ifttt with wordpress
1. Login to your Ifttt account or sign up for a new now

5. Turn the applet on, then customize the post setting as best suits you.

NOTE IFTTT also has an android app to ease your access to their service, it is available on Playstore. Just search for it on Google Play and Download.

Blogging the say is very difficult, but when you make use of the right tools made available for bloggers, then your workload might be reduced a great deal. Some of these tools are post-automation, it saves you the time of having to visit multiple accounts just to post to your social networks. The saved time, in turn, can be used to work on your blog's SEO. Meanwhile, If you experience any trouble setting it up, feel free to leave a comment here.

How to engage blog readers and make them check back - Helps in retaining Visitors

How to engage blog readers and make them check back - Helps in retaining Visitors

Most bloggers often wonder why some days the will have huge views on their blogs, while other days it is like the just started blogging afresh. Proper Optimization of a blog on search engine (SEO) ensures you get impressions and clicks from the search engine. Which in turn increases search engine visibility and thus boosts traffic. But most often, after the user gets the information he was searching for on your blog, they definitely leave and sometimes don't come back again.

However, there is a reason why viewers do not check back your website after searching and visiting for the first time. In today's post, I will discuss some tips in which one can apply to engage their viewers and also, boost their traffic, and thus increase their earnings. Its simple logic, the more visitors check back your site, the more your traffic. In my previous posts, I wrote on how you can boost your blog/website traffic, you can check that post through this link.

  1. Write quality and Unique Post

  2. Go straight to the point

  3. Use catchy title

  4. Add Related Post Widget

  5. Always update your blog

  6. Link back to older posts from your blog

It doesn't just retain your viewers, but it also ensures you rank in search engine for the related query. It is essential to also maintain quality when writing blog posts, avoid copy and paste because it does not rank your blog well in search engine. Having a unique post also helps in getting approved to ad networks eg Google AdSense.
Quality posts let your viewers know that you are serious with your business. And that you are sure to serve them well.

READ ALSO: How to increase Traffic of a new blog

Most readers you get from a search engine, intend to just visit, get the answer(s) to their query as fast as the can. In as much as having a lengthy post is good for SEO, you should also take into account that your viewers just want to get answers without having to read long and unrelated texts. So to avoid such, ensure you be as brief as possible in your introductory statements and proceed to the reason for the post. By doing so, whenever a user intends to search something on the web, they tend to visit your blog and search it there.

One of the most important aspects of writing a blog post is having an eye-catching title. This is because when a user searches the web, there are millions of results displayed, with the post titles. The user tends to click on the link that attracts their eyes (catchy title). So ensure you use the catchy title when writing your next blog post. You can search the web for post title tool, or how to add an eye-catching title for blog posts.

Also, requesting feedback from your audience, either by adding a poll at the end of your post helps in keeping visitors

Related posts are just widgets that link back to old blog posts under the same category or label. Before adding related post widgets to your blog, ensure you add label/category to your blog posts. Because related posts are grouped based on their category. When a user visits your blog, there is a great chance that he or she would find posts that will be helpful to him in your related post widget.

Although recent blog templates come with related post widget, if yours doesn't have, Be sure to add related contents widgets to your blog, as it helps in engaging blog readers.

As I mentioned in previous posts, blogging is a real business, so avoid lazy behaviors towards your blog if you intend to succeed in your blogging career. What's the point of creating a blog, just to leave it unattended to.
If a loyal viewer of your blog constantly checks back to your blog, only to find out that the posts are not updated regularly, the user tends to find other places where he could be updated on a regular basis. By default, I recommend you update your blog at least 3 times a week.

When writing blog posts, using internal links that link back to your blog posts, not only engage your viewers but also add to your blog's pageviews using what is known as do-follow links. When using internal linking, you should add in such a way that the users most likely would have to refer back to your previous post, if he or she wishes to fully grasp the info the came for.
Example, if you are writing a post on "how to make money blogging.", you can add in between the article "how to create a blog". This way, a user who will read the article has to refer back to the old blog post to first understand how to create a blog.
